Collin Rose Society Continuous Rose Show

The Continuous Rose Show has been a treasured event since the beginning of our rose society.  The Continuous Rose Show begins April and runs through November each year.  That’s several months of roses shared by members.  It’s easy to participate.  Simply bring your roses to the meeting in something to hold them and complete an entry tag. 

Winners are decided by popular vote.  There are seven categories of competition:

 

That’s seven wins at each meeting.  Why is that important?  Each category win results in one point for the winner.  Points are accumulated for the grand prize winner award at the December Banquet.

So, bring your blooms and share the beauty of your roses with other members.

Rules:

  1. Membership vote - each member given 7 beads.
  2. Rose with most votes (beads) wins category.
  3. Category winner announced at meeting & posted in Newsletter.
  4. Each category win worth 1 point.
  5. Accumulated points decides - 1st and 2nd prize winners.
  6. Prizes and bragging rights awarded at December Banquet.
  7. All members eligible to enter.
